Porsche Classic Communication Management Plus (PCCM Plus) – Installation – Wake Robbin | Consign or Sell

This is a working draft about the Porsche Classic Communication Management Plus (PCCM Plus).

Some important points:

You must order the Nav. Map Card. It is not included. About $160-170.
You must order a tuner and antenna for SiriusXM to work and install. The Antenna has to also be installed on the top of the car. I ordered but no other information at this time.
No Sound. After you install you may get no sound. Go to Home, Settings, Volume. Hold it down for 10 seconds or so. Change from CAN to AMP or AMP to CAN depending on your set up. Unplug the power cord and then plug back in.
Warning message that cannot access because car is moving even though it is not. Mine fixed. But try to click your selection several times to see if the message will go away.
There are kits for installing it various models. Same kit. It contains a holder for the PCCM, new cover for air and try below and a few other things. You may be able to get by with just ordering the cover and tray for the radio if you can locate.
I cannot get the Sandby Time to work so the unit has to be cut on and off manually. it is under Settings.

Read the instructions and they do help. But don’t take everything as mandatory.

THERE ARE ITEMS THAT YOU NEED NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGE. But maybe not all the items listed in the instructions. It may be easier for you to order the items anyway and use them.

Since I installed this in the car above, some content may not help with other models but from what I learned, they will help for any installation.
